1 tablespoon molasses
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons fat-free milk
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon canola or corn oil
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 tablespoons gluten flour
1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

2-pound machine (24 servings)

1 1/4 cups plus 1 tablespoon fat-free milk
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons canola or corn oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 tablespoons gluten flour
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon active dry yeast

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Put the ingredients in the bread machine container in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the whole-grain or basic/white bread cycle. Proceed as directed by the manufacturer. When the bread is done, let cool on a cooling rack before slicing.
