2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 large garlic cloves, flattened
1 1/4 pound large mushrooms, halved or quartered if very large
1 cup dry white wine
Chopped Italian parsley

Preparation

  1. Melt butter with oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until beginning to brown, about 2 minutes. Using slotted spoon, remove garlic and discard.
