1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon anise seeds
3/4 cup vodka or water
About 4 cups ice cubes, cracked if large

Preparation

  1. Blend juice, sugar, and anise seeds in a blender until seeds are finely ground, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Add vodka or water and enough ice to fill blender, then blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
