1 whole egg
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1/2 cup crushed ice
8 ounces claret
Nutmeg
Preparation
Combine the egg, sugar and crushed ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a 12-ounce Tom Collins glass, fill with claret and stir gently. Grate a little nutmeg on top.
