Coffee

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Cloudy

    Step 1

Add eggshells to the coffee while reheating it. Strain before drinking.

  2. Not enough

    Step 2

Company’s coming any minute and you’re nearly out of coffee. Make mocha and you can serve six people with 2 cups of coffee.

  3. Overcooked

    Step 3

A tiny pinch of salt is said by some to take away the bitter taste of overcooked coffee.

  4. Too hot

    Step 4

If you overheat coffee on a regular basis, why not keep a small bowl of frozen coffee cubes in the freezer? (See “Too Much,” below.)

  5. Too much

    Step 5

You made an entire pot and it didn’t get drunk? Put the leftovers in ice cubes trays and use to make iced coffee that won’t get watered down. If you’d rather use it up (or your freezer is too full), make milk shakes with coffee instead of milk. Or use as your liquid in baked goods. It makes brownies taste divine and adds interest to gingerbread.
